Maybe, not many of you know but I’ve been living between Sevilla, Bali, and Puerto Rico for the past five years. How did I get to Sevilla, well love, I married a Sevillano, and so the story goes. Sevilla, Andalusia as served as my inspiration for many if my best selling collections. It’s people, customs, traditions, cuisine it something I feel everyone should experience once in their lifetime.
The first time I visited El Rocio, 5 years ago, I could feel the spiritual and beautiful Essence of this sacred place. Now I make my pilgrimages at least twice a year there. I wanted to share this experience and beauty with my fans & customers, so what a better way than through my jewelry. With the Saint Rocio images on different medallions, which I string onto adjustable colored cotton strings which are adjustable so you can be wear two or three necklaces layered. Now you can have a piece of El Rocio close to your heart too……
This is the one time during the year that my alter ego “La Gitana” lets loose. I feel transported to another time & era. Checkout my journey in photos below…..
With my partner in crime, Fashionista Miss Inmaculda, we made our first appearance at Los Toros with Panama Hats and dressed to kill hearts, not the bull, we left that to El torero…….

A couple of weeks ago, I posted a blog about the Obama earrings I designed to show my support for President Obama’s reelection campaign (if you haven’t read it, scroll below and you’ll find it!) Well, last Sunday pictures surfaced online of the fabulous Miss Beyoné Knowles-Carter wearing them and they became the Hot New Item of the week!!
We’ve been selling them like hot cakes and orders have been coming from all over the world! and the buzz doesn’t stop there. Blogs, magazines and newspapers from all over have been talking about how amazing and fabulous the earrings are! (I’ll put some links bellow so you can see)

Even the President and the First Lady congratulated me for the earrings! So I just had to design a pair just for Michelle a little more her style: classic and oh so chic.
So thank you Miss B and her stylist, Ty, President Obama and Michelle Obama for your support and of course, all of my fashionistas that purchased the earrings and raved about them! Hope you love them as much as I do and wear them proud!

There’s always that signature piece in my collections that I’m always obssessed about and wear almost all the time!
Today it’s all about the super daring and always classic earrings. My favorite piece from the Alexandria collection has to be the Isiris Earrings (pic above) in gold! (I just love gold… Like a true newyorker!) I love to wear them with a ballerina bun, a funky dress, a pair of platforms, maybe some basic bracelets and my Isi Rings with my beloved Ulan Ring.

As always, everything’s pretty hectic here in Erika Peña Designs, but I always like to take some time to write about what’s new!
On October 31st, we’ll be participating in the Men’s Fashion Show at the International Ballroom of the San Juan Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino in Condado. My show starts at 9:40pm.
I’m so excited about this event because it’s very out of the box from what I’m used to. As you all know, I’m known for women’s jewelry, but in this event I will introduce my new line, Corpus. This line is edgy, for the daring and bold… and it can be used by men!
